In addition to the Revival, Bend Roots hosts several local events designed to give people a voice in their community through interactive art and music. As we develop our website, more information will be posted about Church of Neil, Dead at the Doj, Chow Summer Jam, Ukes for Youth, the Roots-Rise Up Youth Camp, and the Bend Roots Teaching Collective.

The Bend Roots Revival is volunteer-powered. A gift from the community to the community.

We need help setting-up and tearing down staging, infrastructure, lighting, and décor. Roots needs greeters and guides to receive bands and patrons, answer questions, give directions, sell merchandise, check IDs, wristband those 21 and up, and monitor alcohol. Please contact our Volunteer Team HERE if you would like to volunteer this season and thanks much for your support!

The Revival is our largest volunteer effort, and because it goes non-stop for three days, there are no shortage of volunteer-shifts to fill.

Starting on Wednesday, before the event, the festival grounds get cleared and some infrastructure comes in. Thursday, the tents arrive and, after tents are up, staging moves in—eight stages, which then need to be leveled and joined.

Skilled carpenter-volunteers are quite welcome here (and also during tear-down, late-night Sunday and early Monday morning).

Lights, sound, backdrops, aesthetics and art create finishing touches on Friday, with everyone working for a smooth kick-off just before 5pm.

During the event itself, volunteers are needed to give Revivalists information and directions, to greet bands, sell merchandise, check IDs, pour beer, and monitor alcohol.
