This season the Bend Roots Revival is scheduled for September 23-25, 2022, and takes place in the Box Factory area between Arizona and Bond Street, above the Old Mill. Seven stages will host 100+ regional acts and educational workshops. ROOTS is family-friendly, free, open to all.
What is Bend Roots?
Bend Roots is an annual festival and renaissance of creativity rising up in Central Oregon. Our culture thrives in connection with nature and the arts, and the Revival links us to both. An annual ritual down by the river which celebrates the creative talents of our community, the “Roots Fest” is an interactive showcase of music, art and culture in Bend. Proceeds from sponsorship of the event, donations, sales of merchandise and beer support art and music education projects, through camps and workshops, and at six schools in Central Oregon.
The Bend Roots Fund
In partnership with our friends at Worthy Brewing and the new-wave merry pranksters at the Long Road Foundation (the folks who present Bend’s annual beloved “Church of Neil” celebration) we’ve started the Bend Roots Fund.
Earmark your donation to support our events (The Bend Roots Revival and Church of Neil), our arts-outreach and music mentoring programs in local schools (The Bend Roots Teaching Collective), community guitar and ukulele lessons at Worthy Brewing, and scholarships for students of private instructors in Central Oregon (The Bend Roots Scholarship Program).
All donations and sponsorships are tax deductible.
Big thanks to Worth Brewing and the Long Road Foundation for your continued support! Y’all rock!

Arts Education
As mentioned above revenue from fundraising efforts, donations at the festival, beer sales, and merchandise sold at the Revival, support art and music education in our community through the Roots Educational Collective, The Bend Roots Fund, in conjunction with TWO local 501(c)(3) charitable arts organizations: Fuzz Phonic Records and KPOV High Desert Community Radio.
This group of artists, musicians, local businesses partners, philanthropists, and a new-wave of very merry pranksters has grown, over the 16 years, to help fund and staff arts-outreach programs at Westside Village Magnet School, REALMS Middle & High School, Cascades Academy, The Tamarack Program, Skyline High School, and Bend International School.
Other Roots Events
In addition to the Revival, throughout the year, Bend Roots organizes a series of interactive art and music events, like the legendary Church of Neil celebration and Dead at the Doj (multi-band live tributes to Neil Young and the Grateful Dead respectively), the Chow Summer Jam, and the Roots Art and Music Camp for Youth.
