This season the Revival is scheduled for Halloween weekend, 10/29 through 10/31. In accordance with Covid-19 protocols, we are presenting a socially distanced and virtual music festival: one you can enjoy via any streaming device from the comfort of your home. We will be broadcasting livestream coverage of the festival from several outdoor sound stages throughout the weekend, presented by WORTHY BREWING, SILVER MOON, AVID CIDER, SPOKEN MOTO, BUNK & BREW and the BROWN OWL. Check the links at the top of this page for schedule, live stream, and more info.
What is Bend Roots?
Bend Roots is an annual festival and renaissance of creativity rising up in Central Oregon. Our culture thrives in connection with nature and the arts, and the Revival links us to both. An annual ritual down by the river which celebrates the creative talents of our community, the “Roots Fest” is an interactive showcase of music, art and culture in Bend. Proceeds from sponsorship of the event, donations, sales of merchandise and beer support art and music education projects, through camps and workshops, and at six schools in Central Oregon.
Bend Roots, Fuzz Phonic Records, KPOV and Boneyard Beer!
Bend Roots is now a project of Fuzz Phonic Records and KPOV Community Radio. While KPOV has been partner in Roots since our humble beginnings in 2006, we are happy to announce a renewed foundation with our favorite radio station. Roots is grateful to KPOV for helping us raise money for our event, for promoting and broadcasting Revival performances, and for supporting Roots’ artists via programs like Center Stage.
Though Fuzz Phonic is the new kid on the block, like Bend Roots and KPOV Fuzz’s mission promotes the arts in central Oregon. Where Bend Roots provides a live stage for local artists, and KPOV the community air waves, Fuzz Phonic is helping local artists with studio grants and promotional support.
In celebration of Roots’ new partnership with KPOV and Fuzz Phonic, Boneyard Beer has agreed to brew us a hoppy pilsner: The FUZZ-ROOTS PILZ. FUZZ-ROOTS PILZ will be on tap for The Bend Roots Revival (10/29-31) at the Bunk & Brew, The Brown Owl, Avid Cider, and Spoken Moto. It will also be available at Boneyard’s pub and select locations around town before and after the event. Proceeds from the sales of FUZZ-ROOTS PILZ support community projects of Bend Roots and FUZZ Phonic Records.
Thank you Boneyard Beer and thanks FUZZ Phonic and KPOV Community Radio for your ongoing partnerships!

A grand celebration of culture and live music in Bend!
The BEND ROOTS REVIVAL is an authentic grassroots community event. Since 2006 Bend Roots has grown in the spirit of music education, and is designed to help cultivate the soul of our community. Now more than ever music and arts are vital to our wellbeing.
This season, 8 sound stages, distributed around the town of Bend, will host 100 live-streamed performances. We are creating physically distanced environments for the bands to perform on outdoor stages, at Worthy Brewing, Silver Moon, Bunk & Brew, Avid Cider and Spoken Moto.
Occupancy at each venue will be limited to comply with Covid19 safety protocols. Revivalists are encouraged to tune-in via the live-stream feeds right here on our website.
Net proceeds from merchandise sales, sponsorship and donations at this event grow the Bend Roots Revival, and support The Bend Roots Education Project—which partners with local schools to provide art, music, and drama classes, and creates jobs for local teaching-artists.
Many thanks to our sponsors!
